ActionScript eh?

It's been a while and I realize that my blog is dead but it's never to late to blog more. So today I wanted to talk about learning ActionScript.. For all the nuubes out there who want to learn it for what ever reason and there's a bunch of reasons. Viva la Flash ! Flash has revolutionized the web, creating brilliant content along with the not so brilliant for years.. Only now is the internet catching up to the capabilities that flash provides but all that aside. Flash a fully object oriented language as we know it now, has only been around since 2007 and that even in the computer software world is a short amount of time. What I'm getting at is around this time in the blogosphere you'll find many references to everything you could need to get started to learn about AS3 coding. Best thing I recommend is to google FITC presenters. If you don't know what FITC is, well you definitely should. Then besides that there's the usual books; I think you should read them : ) Plus the course of which this blog is associated with Sheridan College's Interactive Multimedia extraordinarily helpful. So follow your interests and have fun with it and you'll pick it up in no time.
